Hand made in Los Angeles, California and Phoenix, Arizona. Our small team of local artisans utilize a combination of knitting, crochet, cut & sew and hand dying processes to create truly unique garments. With a focus on natural and recycled materials, each piece is meant to embody the labor of love it takes to create and embrace the natural imperfections of the human touch. Having studied fashion design and pattern making at Central Saint Martins in London, United Kingdom as well as Polimoda in Florence, Italy, Elliana Capri marries traditional Italian and British craftsmanship with a new perspective on womenswear. Elliana’s first experience with textiles dates back to her early childhood living in San Miguel De Allende, Mexico where she spent her summers weaving rugs on 300 year old looms. This formative experience is still reflected in her work today, from her affinity for woven fabrics and motifs to traditional artisanal techniques. After working as a stylist in Los Angeles for 2 years, Elliana Capri Studios was started in 2020 in an aim to combine her love for different artistic mediums with a carefully developed vision of wearable garments. Each piece is inspired by Elliana’s own life and tells a story of trial and error, a new beginning to a rebirth and a dream to an actualized reality.
